What is an AI Interviewer and what is its role?

The Artificial Intelligence Interviewer is a tool that supports the recruitment process, designed by experts in hiring and technology to better understand your profile and gain deeper insight into your capabilities.

Its function is to guide the interview or roleplay by following a script defined by recruitment professionals.
The agent asks questions related to the position, your future responsibilities, and helps generate a structured report of your responses and assessments to complement your application.

Very important!
The AI agent does not make decisions, nor does it evaluate or automatically score any candidate. Decisions are always made by a human member of the recruitment team.

What information does the AI Agent have about you?

In this process, the AI Interviewer only has access to your name in order to greet you properly.
It does not have any additional information about you or any other candidate (it has no identifying data and no access to your CV).
It has no prior information about your experience, age, gender, background, education, or any other personal data.
It does not have access to internal evaluation criteria used by recruitment specialists or those applied after your interview.
If it is an interview, the AI agent only knows what you choose to share during the conversation.

What data is collected during the interview?

The principle of minimum necessary data is strictly applied.
During the conversation, only the elements you share are considered. No external data is obtained and no sources are cross-referenced.

Depending on the format of the questions, the data may include:

  • Text (your written or spoken answers, once transcribed).
  • Audio and/or video, solely for:
    • Enabling transcription.
    • Providing visibility and transparency to the technical team responsible for the process.
  • Files provided to streamline the selection process (the agent does not access or evaluate these files under any circumstances).

No biometric facial evaluations, recognition, or analysis of any kind are carried out.
All questions asked by the agent have been previously designed and approved by a recruitment specialist, who is responsible for your data.

You decide what to share

As a participant, you have full control over what you want to share—what to answer and what not to answer. You are not required to provide any information you consider irrelevant.
The AI Interviewer never “learns” from your data, and your information is not used to train any artificial intelligence or machine learning models, including large language models (LLMs).

Will this interview be evaluated? How is it done?

Recruitment professionals typically conduct an evaluation of the interview or roleplay, but it is important to understand how this is done.

The information you share during the conversation serves as input, just as it would in a traditional interview. The AI Interviewer does not evaluate on its own, does not assign scores, and does not make judgments about any aspect. Its function is to facilitate the conversation and structure your responses so they can be reviewed later by people.

The evaluation is carried out afterward, through a system that assesses each requirement by comparing it exclusively with the information from the conversation to establish an overall assessment:

  • Using criteria defined by human recruitment specialists, aligned with the role and established by the company.
  • With additional contextual information about aspects of your profile that may be of interest.
  • Supported by the conversation transcript and any audio/video provided.

The team reviews the interview data (transcripts, audio, or video if applicable) and contextualizes it within the broader recruitment process.
At no point is there an automatic decision based solely on interaction with the AI: analysis, interpretation, and final decisions always depend on the professional judgment of the people responsible for the process.

Is my data used to train AI?

No. Under no circumstances.
Specifically:

  • There is no machine learning using your data.
  • Your information is not used to improve models.
  • The interaction ends with the recruitment process. No information is shared with third parties.

Who can access your information?

Only individuals directly involved in the recruitment process.
Your data is never shared with unrelated third parties, sold, transferred to other companies, or used for commercial or advertising purposes.

The owner of your data is the company to which you applied, which is responsible for the entire recruitment process.

How can I cancel or request deletion of my data?

If you have any request or concern, contact the company with which you completed your recruitment process for further clarification. AI Interviewers act as part of the process, following strict instructions from the recruitment team. They will be able to guide you.

Good luck!
